It’s LUSH.

June 1, 2012

Me and my momma took a girls’ day and drove an hour to get to the only decent shopping center near us. They have a LUSH store. It was my first time in one but I’ve been hearing about it and reading about it for the longest time!

It was worth the wait.

LUSH is the coolest store! All the products are handmade and even have little stickers on the bottom of bottled products saying who made it! Sweetness! And everything is all natural and has minimal preservatives and some of the products are “lickable” (aka completely and 100% edible).

Plus the lady that helped us was super energetic and you could tell she loves LUSH and totally believes in the company and their products! That’s always so cool to see an employee back their products 100%! I got to try almost everything I bought which was super nice and completely recommend you visiting your local LUSH shop or hit up LUSH online (but it’s totally worth the trek to a shop just for the experience)! Perhaps I shall have a LUSH giveaway sometime so keep on the eye for that….hmmmmm…..*idea forming in brain*…..

I bought:

– Sugar Scrub, $5.95: “Our solid Sugar Scrub is tough on cellulite and unwanted bumps, but kind on your skin. It’s no nonsense attitude doesn’t waste any time getting down to business; sweetly exfoliating with Fair Trade sugar and stimulating circulation with fennel and ginger. It’s not all rough stuff though; calming lavender has a balancing effect and encourages healthier skin. Get yourself wet in the bath or shower (but don’t let the bar get under the running water). Scrub, scrub, scrub and rinse away! You’ll be left with smoother, cleaner and radiant skin. Water you waiting for? Get scrubbing!”

– Sweet Lips $8.95: “Chocoholics, step right up! Sweet Lips is our cocoa and vanilla infused scrub that tastes like freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Vanilla extract and jojoba oil keep your lips moist, castor sugar gently exfoliates, and the rich, deep fragrance of cocoa absolute gives this an irresistible touch. This one is so scrumptious that we’ve received many guilty customer confessions of eating the scrub right out of the pot (naughty people!) Chocolate, vanilla and sugar? We can hardly blame them.”

– Schnuggle $16.95: “When you get out of your night-time bath or shower, massage this moisturizing cocoa butter bar into your skin. The absorbent powders in Schnuggle make your skin feel soft and not the slightest bit oily, as though you’ve been sprinkled with skin-smoothing fairy dust. It’s lovely right before bed because it moisturizes skin but you’re saved the worry about ruining the sheets! The dreamy, soporific fragrance of lavender, chamomile, ginger and sandalwood (similar to our Dreamtime Luxury Bath Melt) will send you off peacefully into the land of nod.”

I’ve got one more post coming your way tonight then I’m off to hide from the thunder and possible tornado.

Love,
Abby

I loved it when I had my first Lush experience as well…and you’re so right about the employees…the girl that helped me that day was super energetic…I was very happy when I left.
